POLICE have taken possession of two illegal firearms from Sulphur Road, upper Waini.
A release said, on Sunday, a .32 Taurus revolver and three matching rounds were found during an investigation, when a search was conducted in an abandoned building.
Later, a public-spirited person handed over another .32 Taurus, which he claimed to have found in an unoccupied mining camp.
