Oral statement goes depositions in
JUSTICE Winston Patterson, the presiding judge in the West Bank Demerara Clay Brick murder trial involving accused Lakenauth Dial, called Mohan, for the murder of Farzam Khan on February 2, 2008, has completed two voir dire. The first voir dire concerned an alleged oral statement which had been rejected by the judge, while the second one dealing with an alleged faulty deposition by the Magistrate at the Preliminary Inquiry has been accepted in the evidence.
The third voir dire whcih began yesterday concerns an alleged written caution statement which the defence, led by lawyer The hearing of the voir dire is continuing.
