EIGHTEEN-YEAR-OLD Richard Mohan (no address given) appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday on charges of throwing missiles and threatening language. He pleaded not guilty to both the offences, particulars of which said, on October 28, he threw missiles at Nordial Seechand with intent to cause injuries and used threats to him, causing a breach of the peace.
Attorney-at-law Ms. Debra Kumar, for the defendant, said the prosecution is the result of the lighting of a firecracker.
Mohan was put on $50,000 bail until December 20.
