HUBERT Brandon (no address given) appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday, charged with attempt to commit a felony. He pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, on October 26, he attempted to break and enter the dwelling house of Ramesh Naipaul.
Police Sergeant Lionel Harvey, prosecuting, said the virtual complainant secured his home and went out but, on returning, saw Brandon on his back stairs.
The Prosecutor said an alarm was raised Brandon and was apprehended.
Brandon was granted $75,000 bail until November 8.
