Guyana Fashion Weekend and the Ministry of Health will be staging an outreach where they will be providing literature on breast and cervical cancers and interacting with women at City Mall.

Visits will be made to hair salons to distribute literature on the two diseases, and to interact with the patrons, since the salons are frequented by women.
Apart from partnering with Sonia Noel, the Ministry also joined with the Mabaruma Heritage Committee and the Ruimveldt Life Improvement Centre, in an effort to intensify its awareness campaign. (GINA)
