THE General Marine female and over-40 male Guyana Softball Floodlights Associations (GSFA) softball cricket competitions continued recently with several matches highlighted by a number of outstanding individual performances.
Hackim Majeed scored a blazing unbeaten 134 to spur Success Masters to a huge 106-run win over Savage; Toolsie Sahadeo topscored with 70 to guide Floodlights to a 48-run victory over Parika Masters; Andy Bharatram and Roy Jafferally picked up four wickets each as New Amsterdam Masters defeated Enterprise Masters; and Don Budhram scored an unbeaten 66 to ensure that Lusignan Street Warriors beat Corriverton Queens by 44 runs.

At the GCC ground, Bourda: Max Masters defeated Mahaica Masters by 84 runs. Max Masters 164-5 from 14 overs (Dennis Mangru 55) Mahaica Masters 80 all out (Tony Singh 4-9).
At the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue: New Amsterdam Masters defeated Enterprise Masters by eight wickets. Enterprise Masters 86 all out (Andy Bharatram 4 -22, Roy Jafferally 4-18) New Amsterdam Masters 87-3 (Tony Amerally 31).
At the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue: Shattaville defeated Industry Super Kings by 14 runs. Shattaville 153 all out from 24.4 overs (Ram Narine 44, Linden McCoy 31, Kesto Singh 2-16, Motilall 2-21) Industry Super Kings 139 all out from 19 overs (Eshwar Persaud 64, Winston Perreira and Linden McCoy took three wickets each).
