FORMER chairman of selectors of the Guyana Cricket Board’s (GCB) junior selection committee Lennox Hunte will be laid to rest today, following a funeral service at the Ebenezer Gospel Hall in West Ruimveldt. Last night, the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) of which the late Hunte was a long standing member, along with the GCB, family and friends, held a ‘Night of Reflection’ in his memory.
Persons wishing to attend the funeral today are advised that the body leaves the Merriman’s Funeral Home at 11:00h, and arrives at the DCC pavilion for 11:30h where it will remain until 13:00h.
The cortege leaves DCC at 13:00h for the Ebenezer Gospel Hall which is located at Lot 32 Ebenezer Drive, West Ruimveldt for funeral service at 15:00h, following which the burial will take place.
