The Chronicle apologizes to Mr. Peter Persaud, founder of The Amerindian Action Movement of Guyana (TAAMOG), for unwittingly identifying him as a member of the Amerindian People’s Association (APA).
Chronicle recognizes TAAMOG  as a credible representative of Guyana’s first peoples and regrets the error, which was contained in a GINA article “Amerindian Affairs Ministry pays tribute to first Amerindian Legislator, Stephen Campbell” published by the Guyana Chronicle yesterday.
