ACTING Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson yesterday remanded Chris Primus to prison when he appeared in court charged with murder. Primus, 19, of Mocha Mocha Village, Lethem, Central Rupununi, was not required to plead to the capital offence.
Particulars of the charge said, on August 29, at Apaikwa Landing, Middle Mazaruni River, he murdered Sylvester Simon.
Primus will remain in prison until September 29 and will return to Bartica court.
