FOR several years now the roads in Ocean View, Uitvlugt on the West Coast Demerara have been deteriorating without any attention being paid to it by the Neighbourhood Democratic Council or the regional administration and as a result they are now in a deplorable state. When it rains some sections are virtually impassable and could be compared to backdam roads.
While it is commendable that roads in other housing schemes in Uitvlugt have been refurbished, as well as the main access road to Uitvlugt Estate it is mind boggling as to why those in Ocean View are being neglected.
It would be extremely nice if these roads could also be refurbished because if they are not then in a short while from now there would be no road left.
