Home Affairs Minister to meet CPGs, residents of ‘C’ and ‘D’ Division

GOVERNMENT has recognised the role of Community Policing Groups in the prevention and detection of crime at the community level, and in this regard, Minister of Home Affairs Clement Rohee will be meeting with several communities and policing groups in the ‘C’ and ‘D’ Divisions.
The meetings will provide the opportunity for residents of various communities and CPGs to discuss concerns affecting their safety and security with the Minister.

This move by the Home Affairs Ministry is part of the holistic approach by the Government in creating a secure and comfortable living environment for its citizens.
