STELLA Ramsaroop joins Kaieteur News’ cabal of anti-government ‘distortionists’ where writing and publishing without verifying the facts is the modus operandi of that clique.

Kaieteur News is the medium through which a certain fledgling political party voices its drivel, and these columnists are part of that party’s propaganda machinery.

Stella has now regurgitated the nuances about Dr. Jagdeo’s marriage to Varshanie Singh.  It must be made clear that   Varshanie wasn’t an impressionable young lady at the time of her marriage; she was educated in London, so her grouses regarding the legality of her marriage have certainly been rendered null and void.

In addition, she was still residing at State House, two years after separating from her husband, and  receiving full benefits from the State. Stella didn’t complain then. But one issue which stands out is her request for His Excellency to actually break the law by granting her duty- free concessions and State land. When he refused, the KN’s cabal jumped on it with their own twist.

I would suggest to Stella to ‘thoroughly’ go through the facts of this story before jumping to a conclusion. I maintain today as I did when this story first made the news that Dr. Jagdeo did the honorable thing in refusing to comment on this issue, which would have given record sales to Guyana’s Tabloid: the Kaieteur News.
