A 56-YEAR-OLD woman, charged with assaulting two young females yesterday appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton.
Esther Pereira, of 73 ‘E’ Sophia, Greater Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to three charges and was represented by attorney-at-law Llewellyn John.
Police said on August 11 last, at Guyhoc Park, in Georgetown, she unlawfully assaulted and made use of threatening behaviour to Natasha Jonas. She was also accused of threatening Ashanti Sankar.
Pereira was released on $35,000 bail and will return to court on September 22.
