There’s a new wave of traffic cops on streets in the city. They wear skirts instead of troussers and are now being inducted into the world of offending motorists and cyclists and how these are treated, of  issuing tickets for infringements, and who is right and who is wrong when vehicles collide, and dealing with those drivers who are offended by being reprimanded by a woman. In this Cullen Bess-Nelson photo, a Corporal instructs a group of female traffic cops about how it’s done. We wish them well.
