McNabb couple loses money, jewellery in burglary

BURGLARS broke into the home of Henry and Ursella Mangroo, at Mc Nabb, about 12 miles West of Anna Regina on Essequibo Coast, from where they stole an undisclosed sum of money and jewellery last Friday.
The thieves entered the house after forcing open a door when the couple had gone to Anna Regina Market.

The Mangroos discovered the burglary on their return and finding the front door open.
Speaking to the Guyana Chronicle, Henry said the place was ransacked and the door to the wardrobe, where the cash and jewels were kept, broken.
A report was made at Anna Regina Police Station and investigations are in progress.
However, the Mangroos, who are members of the Mc Nabb Voice of Faith Miracle Ministries Church, want those responsible for the theft apprehended quickly.
