Every year Toastmasters International holds an international convention in which an international speech contest is held. This year it will be held in California in the United States.
This year, Toastmasters Clubs in Guyana contested for a representative for the Caribbean District International Speech Contest which was scheduled to be held in Saint Lucia from May 13th to May 16th 2010.
The area contest was held at the Bank of Guyana on April 16th 2010. The winner of this contest was Ms. Ms.Rochelle Parasram who is a member of the MACORP Toastmasters Club.
