A TWENTY-ONE-YEAR-OLD woman, of Friendship, East Coast Demerara, together with two men have been jointly charged with a violent robbery in Berbice.
Jannel Abrams, of Lot 38 Friendship and Jason Smith, 37 and Shawn Marcel Ramney, both of Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam, appeared before Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo in the town yesterday.
They were not required to plea to the indictable charge and were each granted $20,000 bail.
The allegation against them is that, on April 25, Eary Andrews alias ‘Buck Man’, was at the Lim Kang Restaurant in New Amsterdam when they approached him, asking for  cigarettes.
The virtual complainant was attempting to comply with the request when the accused trio cuffed him about his body and relieved him of $6,000.
The case has been put off, for report and fixture, on June 12.
