MAGISTRATE Adela Nagamootoo yesterday sentenced convicted burglar Darion Edwards to three years imprisonment on his conviction for break and enter and larceny.
The prisoner, 29, of Smythfield, New Amsterdam, Berbice, stole a toilet bowl, a metal kitchen sink, a bathroom sink  and 30 louvre window panes, valued a total of $130,000, from the dwelling house of Motee Singh.
Police Inspector Satrohan Dayaram, prosecuting in New Amsterdam Court, said the virtual complainant had secured his home and gone out last April 14 but returned to discover that a window had been broken and the household items missing.
The Prosecutor said cops, acting on information received, arrested the burglar.
