CONSTRUCTION of two large hotels, to boost the tourism drive, is in progress on the Essequibo Coast.
The two, when completed, will take the number, across the coast, to 13.
One is being built at Richmond and the other at Dartmouth.
Reports said the Private Sector is investing heavily in the hotel business because of the increase in tourist destinations being developed and the rise of tourism on the coast, coupled with the opening of more supermarkets in the ‘Cinderella County’.
