Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) officials are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male of East Indian descent that succumbed at the institution on April 7, 2010.
A report from GPHC noted that around 14:22 hrs on April 6, a slim, brown-skinned male, approximately 5ft 6”- 7” in height, was ‘found’ slouching in a wheelchair in the Accident and Emergency Unit.
The unidentified man was reportedly severely dehydrated, his eyes were sunken and he was experiencing shortness of breath.
As a result, the report said, the Emergency room staff was unable to ascertain his name, age, address or next of kin.
The unknown male was subsequently admitted to the Male Medical Ward, where he succumbed on April 7, 2010 at 07:40 hrs, less than 24 hours after admission.
