THE Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) has said it has paid severance benefits to those employees who would have had their services terminated in December 2009. This action, the corporation said, is in keeping with the decision made by the Board of Directors of the Guyana Post Office Corporation on 30th December, 2009.
This has brought closure to the issue of severance benefits with its former employees, which have been ventilated in the public domain, GPOC said.
