Dynasty Entertainment wins Miss Linden Town Week franchise

DYNASTY Entertainment, headed by Mr. Selwyn Lancaster, has won the franchise to stage the Miss Linden Town Week Pageant.
Ten delegates are in training for the 2010 contest at Mackenzie Sports Club ground on Saturday, May 1 and the franchise holder said, this year, it will be taken to a new level.

Lancaster told the Guyana Chronicle that leading fashion designer Dereck Moore, who is associated with the organising of Ms. Guyana Universe, has been drafted in to ensure very high quality.
Lancaster said one of the new features of Miss Linden Town Week will be a Ms. Universe platform and a number of international Guyanese artistes are being lined up to make an appearance that night.
Approval for the show was given by the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Linden in January.
Meanwhile, following a recent meeting between Dynasty Entertainment and the contestants, at the office of the former, Lancaster said a flash drive, containing all files related to the pageant, as well as a digital camera were stolen.
He said, while some of the printed materials are now being retrieved from the Internet, they are not as up to date as those on the flash drive, for the return of which a reward is on offer.
Lancaster is also appealing to the general business community for sponsorship, pointing out that the budget for the event is just above $5M.
