Jackson ’6 take home Jeet ‘One Day Scramble’ dominoes

THE consistent Jackson 6, led by Jermain ‘Hold Tight’ Jackson, defied all odds after being the underdogs on Thursday night, as the Jeet brothers held a One Day Scramble at the Strikers/F&H venue, Meadow Brook Gardens.
All the names of the players were placed together and randomly pulled, to be captained by Ron Callender (R’6), Orin Boston (B’6) and Jermain Jackson (J’6)

The lineup for J6 consisted of Noel ‘Junior’ Ramchungee, Intikab ‘Cryout’ Ali, Hilton ‘Magic’ Johnson, Gary ‘Tie Tongue’ Jansen and Rondell ‘Hard Card’ Charles.
Ian ‘Reds’ Wills, Edmund ‘Musca’ Sammy, Hilbert ‘Bumpy’ Ali, Culbern ‘Foodin’ Edwards and Roderick ‘Dayclean’ Harry made up R’6 while Manniram ‘Packer’ Shew, Hassan ‘Food’ Khan, William ‘MarkCard’ Hardy, Soomday ‘Rice’ Jeet and Imtiaz ‘Rebel’ Ali were the participants of B6.
J’6 led from start and never looked back with R’6 on their heels steadily but they staved off a late onslaught attack and were victorious with the scores reading J’6 on 80 games, R’6 on 74 games and B’6 who failed to deliver any bombs in the cellar with 58 games.
The winners were awarded a trophy with six caps compliments of Jeet brothers and $18 000 cash incentive, second-place were the  recipients of a trophy while the MVP, Rondell Charles, who made the maximum 18 games, received a gold watch compliments of Jeet Brothers.
Top scorers in the match were Rondell Charles and Hilton Johnson of J’s while Ian Wills, also with the maximum 18 games, was well supported by Ron Callender, Edmund Sammy and Culbern Edwards with 16, 15 and 14 games respectively. There were two lovebirds in Orin Boston and Hilbert Alli.
