ACDA to house African drumming school

MAGIC Fingers Drumming School, headed by certified drummers Orlando and Kirt Primo, will be conducting classes in the art at the Thomas Lands African Cultural Development Association (ACDA) building.
The school will be officially opened today with a ceremony beginning at 14:00 h.

A press release said “it is intended to revitalise and reintroduce the African culture which has been lost, even as it assists potential students to remain connected to their African roots, traditions and the importance of the African Drums.”
“After seasonal sessions, students are expected to entirely grasp the techniques and history of drums and every other related concept that ties in naturally with African Drumming,” the release stated
