THE National Sports Commission (NSC), in collaboration with Special Olympics Guyana, will be conducting a Swimming Instructors’ Training Course commencing today from 09:00 h at the Colgrain Swimming Pool.

According to a release, training will be for teachers from Special Schools that are interested as well as committed parents who are willing to volunteer time and service to assist in the development of the aquatic programme within Special Schools.

This training is the second of its kind to be conducted by Stephanie Fraser and will be coordinated by Head of Special Olympics Guyana Wilton Spencer.

Committed and interested volunteers are also invited to participate in the training sessions which will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 09:00 h to 11:00 h at the Colgrain Swimming Pool, Camp Street.
