THE Guyana Amateur Boxing Association (GABA) has joined the entire boxing fraternity and the general Guyanese public in extending warmest congratulations to Leon `Hurry Up’ Moore and his management team, on their recent scintillating victory over Asian fighter, Marangin ‘Dinamita’ Marbun for the World Boxing Association (WBA) PABA Super Bantamweight Title.

In a release to Chronicle Sport yesterday, GABA’s secretary Sean Richmond said Moore has brought Guyana yet another International title and “there is no doubt that your (Moore) recent achievement is indeed a source of inspiration for all of our local fighters and will be spoken of for some time to come.

“It must be underlined that our admiration for your accomplishments has been felt and received by all of us within the amateur boxing fraternity, with a sense of personal elation and national pride.
