Logos Hope docked at Port-Georgetown

– opens to the public today carrying 7,000 titles and half a million books

Logos Hope, a new ship, has for the first time docked in Guyana and will be opened to the public today carrying 7,000 titles and half a million books.

Replacing the previous ship Logos II, this newest ship in the fleet has been fully renovated and designed to give visitors a truly memorable experience.

The ship will be opened to the public at the GNSC Wharf in port Georgetown from 12 noon to 18:00 h this afternoon.

* Monday through Saturdays: 11:00 h – 18:00 h

* Sundays: 13:00 h – 19:00 h;

* Early bird discount is from today through Saturday; and the last opening day is on Sunday, 13th December.

In addition to the array of attractions on board, the crew will also be involved in community work in different areas in the country.

The ship is expected to be here until December 13th.

In almost 40 years of service, the organisation has welcomed almost 40 million visitors up the gangways in over 150 countries and territories around the world.
