I miss the letters of Mr. Rickford Burke of the Caribbean Guyana Institute of Democracy. I used to study Mr. Burke’s letters as exemplifying a mind which is living in a world which has passed away and which produced anachronisms of a special genre. But I heard that Mr. Burke is slowly but surely moving away from the past. I hope he continues writing and I am sure he will surprise us all by catching up with present day realities and make a valid contribution.
