THE United States Military, together with local medical practitioners, will conduct the first of several outreaches around Guyana next week.

The clinics, open to one and all, will target dental health, as well, as part of ‘New Horizon Guyana’, one of the exchange missions begun last May.

A Guyana Defence Force (GDF) release said the programme will start in Georgetown and Skeldon in Corentyne, Berbice, continuing for approximately two weeks, before changing locations, with the dental aspect from Monday through Friday until the end of August.

The one at Skeldon Hospital will be from July 21 to 23 and July 25 to 30, with the doctors providing their services in the areas of general practice, optometry with the provision of spectacles, among other things, limited dental examinations, fillings and extractions.

Meanwhile, the dental clinic at Diamond, East Bank Demerara, will be at the Secondary School from July 20 to 24 and July 27 to 31, all between 08:00h and 16:00h, for both adults and children.
