FUGITIVE from United States (U.S.) justice, Ghalee Khan was further remanded to prison yesterday because the Police did not have the file at Providence Court.
Khan appeared before East Bank Demerara Magistrate Priya Beharry who, like last Friday, did not have the jacket.
Police Corporal Lionel Harvey, prosecuting, informed that the Prosecution is still seeking advice, on the matter, from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and the case was postponed to July 28.
Khan, of Lot 498 Cane View Avenue, South Ruimveldt Park, Georgetown and Lot 1419 New York Avenue, New York, has pleaded not guilty to having, on October 23, 2008, at Diamond, on East Bank Demerara, too, trafficked in three kilogrammes 408 grammes of cocaine, by supplying the quantity to convicted prisoner Orlando Dwayne Humphrey also known as Orlando Dwayne Ifill.
Khan arrived in Guyana after jumping bail on a similar charge in the United States last year.
