IN one of his recent letter Mr. Mark Blair suggested that homosexuality does not fit into the natural evolutionary framework of life (May 31st Kaieteur News – What is the natural law for mating?) His argument is that homosexual couples cannot of themselves naturally reproduce and therefore might be some sort natural abomination.

With the growing threats of overpopulation devastating the natural resources of planet, I wonder if Mr. Blair would consider that homosexuality is in fact a natural self-correcting mechanism; that it is not an anomaly of nature but rather a tool being used by nature to keep the human population in check.

The threats to mankind caused by over population are much direr than gay folks who are harming no one. Present scientific projections say if civilization is to fall it would be because it could no longer sustain itself due to the consumption needs of an exploding human population.

Is it possible under this scenario, that the non-reproducing homosexuals might actually be the saviour of us all?
