Judge dubs some testimony untrue, unreliable

JUSTICE William Ramlal yesterday dubbed untrue and unreliable some testimony by two witnesses in the fire death murder case at the Demerara Assizes.

The duo had testified at the voir dire (trial within a trial), in the absence of the jury, about certain aspects of the prosecution.

One of them, Man Singh, of Uitvlugt, West Coast, Demerara was however, allowed to continue his evidence.

Ex-policeman Colin McIntosh, Mohan Persaud and his sister, Khamie Persaud, are indicted for the unlawful killing of Adjodah Singh called Krishna who was doused with gasoline and set ablaze.
