WITH over 18 inches of rainfall for the past several days, the regional administration of Region 6 has responded positively in remedying the situation of the flood that was experienced throughout several parts of the region.

The Regional Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and other regional officials, have worked throughout the Christmas and New Year’s holiday which is something scarcely done by government officials during holiday seasons, to enable more comfort to the lives of Guyanese.

As an overseas based Guyanese I must compliment the regional administration on the remarkable work it has been doing and hope it continues to follow these steps and procedures in ensuring the betterment of the region.
