THE President has yet again showed his humane side as he has shared in the grief and suffering of the Palestinian people.

For years, the Palestinian people have suffered at the hands of Israel and it is time that persons recognise this essential fact.

Some world powers have backed the Israeli offensive for political reasons. I am happy to see the President’s response to such a controversial issue.

Great leaders are defined by the things that they do and say and President Bharrat Jagdeo is one of those leaders.
