BEHIND the wheels of his Toyota Starlet, WR Reaz is still elated after a successful outing on the track last Sunday when the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) hosted its ‘Club Day’ at the South Dakota Circuit. Reaz, despite some minor car issues on the day was able to nab third in the Group 3 class, which was the day’s first event. He followed that up with a second-place finish, racing with the likes of Ryan Rahaman, Shairaz Roshandin and Danny Persaud.
The 1331cc powered Toyota Starlet which was built by Saeed Bacchus of Success East Coast Demerara, WR Reaz said, was the main reason behind his success among some of the ‘big guns’ in the sport and went on to give credit to his entire support squad for his achievements.
