Work at Guyana Goldfields Inc. Aurora Gold Project in Region 7 (Cuyuni/Mazaruni) is progressing rapidly to ensure that operations commence in mid-2015. 

The Canadian owned company which has been carrying out operations in Guyana since the year 1996 to date primarily focuses on the exploration and development of gold deposits in Guyana.
The project is expected to become one of the largest contributors to Guyana’s tax base and will generate employment for approximately 750-800 persons.
