WICB Regional U-19 50-Over … Guyana continue hunt to retain title

DEFENDING champions and top runners Guyana Under-19 swing back into action today in round six of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Regional U-19 50-over competition in Jamaica.Today’s match will be crucial for the top three teams, who are currently bunched closely together, to register a win.
With only one round remaining, Round 7, these teams understand their roles if they want to finish in the top two, to enter the final.
Guyana, currently in third, face current points-leaders Windward Islands in one of the day’s three matches. Jamaica currently in second will tackle Leeward Islands who lead the bottom half of the table while ICC Americas go head-to-head with Barbados.
Rounds 7 will be contested the following day. Guyana will meet ICC Americas, Leeward Islands will take on Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados will clash with Jamaica.
Curtain then comes down on the competition when the finalists do battle on August 2.
