THE President, Board of Directors, Management and Staff of the West Indies Cricket Board regret the passing of Gyananad Sukhdeo.The late Guyanese umpire just turned 41 on May 20, passed away yesterday, May 24.
Sukhdeo was part of the junior panel of umpires for the WICB since 2011 and did duties for the age group tournaments, Under-15, U-17 and U-19 competitions. He was a standby umpire in the regional four-day competition.
The team offers condolences to his family and friends in Guyana and around the region.
