WI ODI team arrive in Guyana tomorrow

MEMBERS of the West Indies Cricket Team will arrive in Guyana tomorrow at 14:15 hrs at the Eugene Correia International Airport.West Indies will play a tri-series featuring South Africa and Australia, with Guyana scheduled to host the first three One Day Internationals (ODIs), at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.
West Indies will take on the South Africa on June 3. Australia will battle West Indies on June 5 and South Africa will go up against Australia on June 7.
South Africa and Australia are set to arrive on Tuesday. The 10-match event will be played under lights, and take place over a three-week period from June 3 to June 26.
After the first round of matches in Guyana, the tournament will head to Warner Park in St Kitts and Nevis for three more games and will conclude in Barbados with the final round of three matches and the grand final at the Kensington Oval on June 26.
All 10 matches in the series will Day/Night affairs and are scheduled to bowl-off at 13:00hrs. This is the first time that a full series of matches will be played under lights in the Caribbean.
