Unbeaten Silver Shattas held to draw by Hi Stars

As the Upper Demerara Football Association’s (UDFA) First Division League takes a week long break after Wednesday’s set of matches. Silver Shattas were held to a 2-2 draw by Hi-Stars, but still leads the points table with six points while Botafago suffered a 2-0 loss that rendered them to four points with four more playing days left ahead of the Christmas break to allow for the staging of the annual year-end football tournament.
Silver Shattas kept their unbeaten record intact with their second draw to go with their two wins to lead the points table.
They are followed by Topp XX and Milerock the other two unbeaten clubs who have five points but with two wins and one draw.
Hi Stars are next on four points with one win and two draws, while Botafago are also on four points have two wins and two losses, while Winners Connection, Blueberry Hill and Amelia’s Ward Panthers all with three points from one win and two losses and one draw to be ahead of Amelia’s Ward Panthers who are next, after one win and two losses, just above Net Rockers who currently occupy the cellar position with three losses and one draw.
