The Ogle Diagnostic Centre is open and fully functional

IN response to the letter published in Stabroek News on Monday, April 20, 2015, ‘Sugar Workers suffering since the closure of Ogle Diagnostic Centre’, I would like to categorically state that The Ogle Diagnostic Centre is open and functional. It is fully operational, equipped and staffed, with two qualified doctors, three professional nurses, a medical technologist, a radiographer and a pharmacist.

The Ogle Diagnostic Centre has always provided quality health care services to all employees and staff and their spouses and children, GUYSUCO’s pensioners and their spouses.

GUYSUCO’s health infrastructures include two diagnostic centres – Ogle Diagnostic Centre and Rose Hall Diagnostic Centre and fifteen health centres across the industry. These centres also provide complimentary emergency services to nearby communities.

A recent patient satisfaction survey conducted in 2014 revealed a 95% satisfaction rate in services provided.
