A 19-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night at around 21:15 hrs when his bike collided with a car on the Danielstown Public Road, Essequibo Coast.Reports said Anil Henry was driving in a southern direction when he collided with a car that was coming in the opposite direction. According to reports the motorcyclist was hurled into the air on impact. He suffered serious head injuries.
He was rushed to the Suddie hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The driver of the car is in Police custody. Henry was the eldest of five children for his parents.
Investigations are in progress.
