Smalta Girls 11-and-under Football Tourney resumes

THE Smalta Girls 11-and-under Football Tournament continues over the weekend at the Ministry of Education Ground (MOE) with 16 scheduled matches to be contested over two days.Both days the action gets underway from 10:00 hrs but today two matches will be played simultaneously while on Sunday matches will be run individually.
Last week none of the matches was played due to the inclement weather which made the venue unfit for play.
Today West Ruimveldt battles St. Angela’s while F.E. Pollard takes on Tucville Primary. After that North Georgetown meets Winfer Garden and St. Pius challenges St. Margaret’s from 10:45 hrs.
The other half of the programme will see Smith’s Memorial and Enterprise clash alongside the St. Stephen’s and St. Ambrose’s match from 11:30 hrs. In the final two matches today which have a 12:15 scheduled start South Ruimveldt goes up against St. Agnes and Stella Maris goes head-to-head with Sophia.
Tomorrow the day commences with Tucville versus St. Angela’s then Stella Maris challenges South Ruimveldt at 10:45 hrs. F.E. Pollard is billed to face West Ruimveldt at 11:30 hrs while Sophia is fixed to match skills with St. Agnes 15 minutes after the clock strikes noon.
The four matches left in the day are St. Margaret’s versus Winfer Gardens, St. Stephen’s versus Smith’s Memorial, St. Ambrose versus Enterprise and St. Pius versus North Georgetown.
