SAMAROO Seepersaud of Lot 11 Herstelling New Scheme, East Bank Demerara was yesterday found dead behind the Park Vue International Hotel at Farm, East Bank Demerara.

His relatives told the Chronicle when this publication visited them that Seepersaud had left home early on Friday afternoon and never returned. They noted that the 63 year old had never been in the habit of staying out late, so they had become suspicious when he had not returned, and a search party was assembled; thus the body was discovered yesterday morning.

The relatives disclosed that the police had informed them that there were no marks of violence on Seepersaud’s body, near which a half bottle of alcohol was found.

They said police have informed that investigations have commenced, but he could have died from natural causes.
