Salvage and Create – DIYs, Beauty and Fashion Tips with Raveena Mangal

The Christmas Season sees often sees you heading out to glitzy parties to see old and new friends over the festive period and spending fun time with our family, whichever it is, no doubt you’ll want to look your best.

All those nights partying is bound to leave even young eyes looking tired. To make sure you stay looking bright give yourself a little eye massage to get rid of puffy eyes.
Begin at the corner of one of your eyes and work your way up, between your brow bone and your eye, rubbing as you go until you reach the outer edge of your eye. Repeat along your lower lash line. Also, be careful about where you apply your blusher as applying it too high can make you look tired.
Facial massage every other day is also unbeatable for getting an instant glow. Use your knuckles (held in loose fists) and finger tips to roll, knead and drum life back into your skin.
After a night out, or after a day of hectic day of shopping, your hair can get lifeless and limp. Boost it back up with a hair mask. Whilst the shop bought varieties are good, you can get great results simply by leaving image of hair your normal conditioner in for longer. Make sure the conditioner is applied from the root to the tip and wrap your hair in a warm towel to help it penetrate the hair follicles further.
Another idea is to make your own DIY hair mask. Try mixing 3 tablespoons of olive oil with 2 tablespoons of honey, apply to hair and cover with a plastic wrap or shower cap. The result-Salon fresh hair that costs next to nothing.
When you head out, thickening hairsprays are great for thin or flat hair and make light work of this season’s up-do’s. If you want to give it volume, spray it directly on the roots for instant bounce and shine.
For glamorous beehive’s or wearing the hair up, spraying each section as you go will give it a firm hold and ensure it stays put throughout the night however much dancing you may be doing!
Don’t forget to experiment for head turning different looks! Look at magazines, scan the web, and see what other women who inspire you are wearing on their faces. Keeping on top of the latest looks will keep the ideas flowing and prevent you from falling into one of those make-up ruts that can solidify our looks for weeks, months, years at a time.
