YOUNG account holders at Republic Bank were yesterday awarded by the bank for excelling at the Caribbean Secondary Examination Certificate (CSEC) exams.The awardees, Michael Jagnanan, Alliyah Gordon, Iyanna Butts, Bryan Kissoon and Allana Hassan, are among the country’s top students.
Speaking at the ceremony held at the bank’s head office in Waterloo Street, Manager’s Assistant for Marketing and Channel Management, Raynol Narine, highlighted that, “in keeping with our focus on education and youth empowerment, we reward academic excellence at all levels, given that we recently concluded the RightStart NGSA Academic Achievement Award for 2015.”
These initiatives, he noted, allows them to play their part in grooming the generation of future leaders to ensure sustained development for the county.
The initiative has been ongoing for some years now and has seen a number of beneficiaries over the years.
