RAPE accused Leon Jordan yesterday walked out of the High Court a free man after a 12-member jury found him not guilty of rape of a child under 16 years’ old.He was found not guilty of the rape of a minor in October 24, 2014 and he was unrepresented by a lawyer.
The jury deliberated for more than two hours before they arrived at a unanimous verdict yesterday afternoon.
Justice Priya Sewnarine-Beharry was the presiding judge in the case, which was held in-camera.
The state prosecutors were Tuanna Hardy and Narissa Leander.
