THE Guyana Chronicle joins in extending Happy Birthday greetings to Mrs. Helena Maud Mc Allister, Managing Director of Mac’s Housing and Facilities, who is today celebrating her 101st birth anniversary.Pleasant, winsome and witty, she is the joy of the Mc Allister family, a guiding light and a veritable driving force behind the success of the family business she has been managing for the last several years.

With a proud heritage of being the matriarch in a family-owned business which has positively contributed to the moulding of the nation academically for more than 50 years, Mrs. Mc Allister has more recently diversified, and is now in the Apartment rental business. She is currently overseeing the rental of a massive three-storeyed apartment building in Newtown, Georgetown.
She has walked the walk, talked the talk, and from an accomplished homemaker, mentor and teacher on the staff of her husband’s dream made a reality – the popular MAC’S SECRETARIAL SCHOOL and Secondary School of yesteryear – she is today the Managing Director of the resplendent 20-bedroomed Mac’s Residential Housing and Facilities, located at Lot 208 Duncan Street, Newtown, Kitty in Georgetown.
