I REFER to the Kaieteur News report dated Thursday, April 21, 2016 under the caption ‘Robin Singh maintains objection to CPL subsidy.’My photo image, which was taken at the Guyana 50th Jubilee School Relay Festival at the Leonora Synthetic Track recently, appeared as an attachment to the author’s (Robin Singh) letter — without permission, consultation, authorisation etc….

For the record, I had no knowledge, neither did I support or endorse his publication letter with the usage of my photo.

I am saddened by all of this, and I say to the government of the day, the Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG), the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA), the National Sports Commission (NSC), athletes, coaches and all other stakeholders that I am deeply sorry for all the inconvenience that may have been caused unknowingly…

It is my expectation that Mr. Robin Singh (Guyana Baseball) publicly acknowledge his error, apologise, and make compensation for the usage of my photo.
