Motion seeking repossession of ‘Prado Ville’ lands to be heard on Oct. 7

A GROUP known as the Committee for the Defence of the Constitution, along with Desmond Trotman, recently moved to the court by way of an originating motion to repossess lands which they allege were fraudulently developed at Plantation Goedverwagting & at Sparendaam, known as Prado Ville 1 and 2.The applicants have named the Attorney General of Guyana as respondent, and the matter is expected to be called for hearing on Wednesday, October 7, at 11 ’o’ clock.

On that date, the Attorney General is expected to enter appearance and to possibly seek leave to file an affidavit in answer.
